This course teaches the kinematics and rigid-body dynamics of kinematically driven machine components. It is assumed that you have a basic understanding of the concepts of displacement, Velocity, acceleration, static force equilibrium and dynamic equilibrium.
To introduce students to manual and computer aided drawing
To develop an understanding of the effect of scaling through different examples from nature and man-made devices To distinguish between flow features present in microscale flows from that present in conventional large-sized flow passages To learn about the working of different microscale devices
• Study of components of fossil and renewable thermal power plants • Thermodynamic analysis of thermal power plant cycles
