The main objectives of this course are
(i) To provide an understanding of metal foams and cellular metals.
(ii) To give an overview of the processing techniques of these materials.
(iii) To discuss the characterization techniques used to evaluate the properties of these materials.
(iv) To tell the most important properties of these materials and the applications based on these
properties.
