This course addresses issues related to functions of brain and the role of mind in those. It embraces topics from historical, philosophical, and scientific perspective. It discusses themes pertaining to behaviorism, identity theory, and functionalism. It analyses the most debated question of contemporary times, i.e. does the mind lead the brain?
