The course will deal interesting phenomena that are not only relevant from a fundamental point of view, but often have important applications.The aim is to bring students into contact with modern research topics, and at the same time to lay a good foundation in the physics of atoms, molecules and condensed matter.The course deals with exploration of materials with novel physical characteristics, applying these fundamental properties in engineering artificial, mostly nanoscale, device structures.
