Learning Objectives: To introduce Mathematical software, principally Mathematica and/or Matlab, but also open source wares such as Python.
Learning Outcomes: Must be able to use Mathematica/Matlab/Open source wares for symbolic and numerical problem solving and visualization. Must be able to implement standard mathematical tasks of interest to physics. Should be able to use these for effective learning in future courses and well as employ them in projects.
