The course will provide foundation in core areas, such as measurements and instrumentation, transducers, error analysis, and data acquisition. One should be able to understand concepts of measurement techniques, role of sensors, and signal conditioning that are essential in engineering design practice. Learning opportunities will include lectures, and hands-on laboratory assignments and a design project.
